Blast from the Past

While working in the garden, (Grrr.....) I heard a whistling noise and suddenly to my astonishment, two Vampires jet fighters appeared. I didn't know there were any left that were airworthy. I rushed in for the camera and tried to snatch a shot. Stupidly I had left it on last night's moon shot settings so the result is a truly crappy shot. However I'm posting it as it's pretty rare to see these. With a bit of research, I guess these are The Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron Vampire pair. These fighters were a common sight back in the 1950s at Aldergrove.
Now I have to find out why they are here.
