Day 2

Have to say we got our moneys worth at the Hilton. We had booked executive suites as there were 3 sharing, but they didn't have 3 suites, so gave us 5 double rooms - great. The executive lounge had free food and drink 6 - 8 so we made the most of that. A swim today started the day followed by a hearty breakfast and a pack up for later made.

Off to the show we went for a second fab day. Lots of purchases made including my secret santa and 8 little pressies for my October retreat. Such a wonderful friendly 2 days. Our hats that we all wore were a conversation starter and made lots of people smile and chat to us.

You might remember Stuart from the Sewing Bee, he really is a a very nice man. I even learnt a few things from him about my sewing machine.

A bit of an epic trip home. The satnav would not find the satellites and this took about 40 mins. Meanwhile I missed the turning for the M42, then couldn't get back onto it because of diversions. Eventually we got ourselves on a detoured route home, but gladly missed all the heavy rain.
