The Remnants .......

.......... of Hurricane Bertha hitting the east of the UK (or so we are told by the weather people).

This was taken out of the upstairs window - not easy as the heavy rain was slanting in and it was a quick snap before the lens got wet ...... had to do a bit of a straighten post-click!!! (and I think my garden needs some work - that birch tree certainly needs another prune!!)

It's not that windy yet - just very breezy - but the rain is really raining - obviously nowhere near as bad as some of the poor Caribbean islands and parts of the US - but I do feel sorry for anyone taking a UK holiday at the moment.
Am sure yesterday's cute little duckling will not be phased by this weather.
