And Ancient Feel

Bright and very breezy but less torrential weather than prophesied. A gentleish day - pottering, weeding, reading the papers and a quick trip down to Gortnakilla for a bit of a blow. Some big clouds and rolling landscape dotted with little ruins - a lot of very small yappy fierce dogs meant serious investigation was halted. This place has a very ancient feel to it - a little cluster of mostly ruined houses, an old pier, a tiny pot-hole road down to it, overhanging hedgerows thick with fuchsia and huge views out towards the Atlantic once you get there. I've chosen to look inwards but this is what the seaward view can sometimes look like.

We've just got into True Detective - seriously good but with very thick accents and a complicated plot.
