The Skeleton of Eastbourne Pier

Back blipped on 10/08/2014.

Jenny & I stayed in Eastbourne after work for the evening. We joined Jenny's colleagues for a few drinks & games at a pub for a leaving bash. We then took a stroll to the seafront & joined the buzz of Friday night life along the promenade. I'd never really appreciated it, but there is plenty of hustle & bustle along there in the evening.

We took a closer inspection of the Pier, now thankfully out of danger. It is a sorry but spectacular sight to behold. Many were still stopping to take in the dramatic alteration, but also enjoying the end of another week.

We then grabbed a bite to eat in Harry Ramsden's, it's a fish & chip shop - not sure if you've heard of it or not!?, & it was delish!
