Thursday 4 February 2010: Cats Eyes

It's very hard to get a photo of my cat with her eyes open, especially since most of my lenses are fairly slow and she is usually only still when she's asleep. I've been playing with this old Olympus OM lens (50mm, F1.8) for a while. It's a great lens but the viewfinder on my E510 and E620 don't make it easy to get accurate focus. Finally got the insurance replacement for the split focus screen I bought ages ago but never tried (long story) and fitted it to the E510. It seems to make manual focus really easy, so expect to see more from the E510 with old OM lenses on it...

Today: Sorted receipts, arranged meetings, swam a mile, went to meeting, found interesting commercial possibility, had a haircut.
