Pink toes and blue eyeshadow

The mourning doves are the most comical and consistent birds that visit the Bird Bistro. I sat in the sun this afternoon and captured some patio pictures. I posted three here, including this beautifully groomed dove.

Weather update: After two days of clouds and thunderstorms, today dawned grey and gloomy. Happily the sun broke through this afternoon. Through the window above my computer I can see a deep blue sky with puffy white clouds. Crossing my fingers that the wet weather doesn't return any time soon.

Note: I haven't had much blipping time recently. Some days I missed entirely, but I backblipped a few; most recently, this one, describing a possible solution to Gulliver's fear of thunderstorms.
