Sunshine comes to the Parliament

Just your average lunchtime in the Parliament's Garden Lobby!!

After the Maoris last night, today it was the turn of the Dloko High School Choir from the Umlazi Township in Durban South Africa. They've been performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe at the Assembly Rooms and their appearance today was just as much a surprise as the Maori Hakka.

But like the Maoris, they were absolutely brilliant.

They are here as part of the Jabulani Project which aims to create opportunities for young people in Scotland and South Africa.

Joining them for this impromptu performance was Bill Kidd MSP, the only MSP brave enough to show off his 'moves'. Ahem. The rest of us stayed well away from the steps :-)

If you want to see the choir in action, try this YouTube link.
