Don't Panic!

I've asked The Dog with little brain
Time and time and time again
Why little rabbits in the lane
Are not considered 'fair game'

Tried her best to explain
That she's made a pact to refrain
From chasing bunnies that are tame.

I'll chase a pheasant in the wood
Pursuing hares is really good
But bunnies? do you think I should
Catch a rabbit for our pud?

For some reason best known to herself, The Dog doesn't chase the baby bunnies in the lane. She creeps up on them and then stands and watches as they hop away. Here she is creeping towards a very young rabbit.
