An adventure...

Ms B has been taking Spanish classes over the past month at our home.

Her teacher is a young, crazy energetic, enthusiastic woman who we LOVE!

One of her homework assignments was to visit a local ice cream shop, "Paisanaito." It is in a neighboring town that is over 60% Hispanic, resulting in the downtown area being full of delicious Hispanic restaurants, stores, etc.

I knew of a fantastic authentic Mexican food restaurant just down the road from it, so we began there. It was fun for B to practice her Spanish and hear it spoken fluently by the majority of the people there.

I took many years of Spanish in high school/college, but am quite rusty. This has been great for me as well. Not to mention, the food and ice cream was amazing!
