Dwarfie Stane

Friday was due to be the best day of the week weather-wise. So we saved our trip to Hoy until today. It poured down while we were on the ferry but cleared up afterwards. Our first stop was the Dwarfie Stane, a rock cut tomb with a passageway and two cells, hollowed out around 3000BC. It's amazing and worth the midge attacks we suffered to get there.

Later we revisited the Martello Tower at Hackness - I absolutely love that place.
