Pointing North

A photo from the glorious M1, looking North. Today was a day off, to escape work for the day and visit a friend. Plenty of time on the motorway network, where signs indicate not just towns and cities but whole regions. So, today I left my temporary home, headed to the MIDLANDS, and then NORTH, before returning home heading for the SOUTH, then the MIDLANDS and back to the SOUTH WEST.

It also represents the seventh county where photos have been taken for this blog so far.
