The Cheese Hamlet....

We had a big dinner last night which was fun. I was in charge of the cheese course as I was working all day. I thought I'd better put a little effort into it so I parked the car in Chorlton and caught the tram to Didsbury to go to The Cheese Hamlet, one of the most popular businesses in this affluent suburb. I chose a piece of Stilton, a soft Brie type cheese from near Windsor and some proper mature Cheddar that was actually matured in the caves around Cheddar Gorge. There were some oat biscuits, some chutneys and I bought some grapes and strawberries. It looked impressive and was delicious.
