Double selfie

There are times in Oxford when it is not possible to walk down the street for the gaggles of tourists. The young ones are hormonally obsessed with themselves and their groups and might as well be anywhere. When they bump into you they look faintly startled. The older ones look up at spires and down at maps and mostly manage to sidestep others at the last minute.

Oxford residents moan a lot about tourists but as long as you're not in a rush they're actually quite fun to watch. As well as those on foot today, there was also a large group on red bikes, wobbling over the cobbles.

I quite liked the far from home, too, adding a bit of diversity to the streets.
