Wombat Rock

Our good friend WalkingWombat has a beautiful property on the Shipley Plateau near Blackheath called "Wombat Hollow". It features about 11 hectares of some of the most beautiful natural bushland including this breathtaking vantage point overlooking the Kanimbla Valley called "Wombat Rock".

WalkingWombat and her partner CCN very kindly invited a number of local blippers to join them today where we were treated to a sumptuous lunch and morning tea. The refreshments were great, the blip opportunities were great and the company was great.

Present were WalkingWombat, Skater, Jensphotos, Gemax, Cymbeline, 59, Beckett, Jolang and myself. HERE are most of us down near the rock and ABOVE we see daredevil exploits by Cymbeline as she shoots pictures from atop the rock. Scared of heights anyone?
