Great Haseley Windmill

When Annie gets bored of her regular commute to Bristol there are a few alternative route options she can take. None save time but just give a slightly different view. One of these takes her over the M40 towards Stadhampton, and a derelict looking windmill has been a feature of that route for as long as we can remember. We've had our eye on it as a derelict building for a blip for some time - on a nice clear day you get a shot of Didcot power station in the distance behind it. Recently she spotted the windmill was no longer derelict, having acquired a set of fine sails. Our initial blip idea has been further changed by half of Didcot power station having now been demolished. Just goes to show you shouldn't wait to take a shot sometimes.

After having the girls here for the day we thought we'd pop out to get a shot of the windmill early evening. We got there and found a good viewpoint, I (Chris) then had one of those sinking moments. 'No Card', said the camera and as I'd only grabbed a couple of bits and my small camera bag there was not an SD card in sight. Thank goodness for the quality of the iPhone camera!
