Pots off Whiddy

An early trip into Bantry, couldn't resist a quick detour to the coast as the light was gorgeous and the sea so still. That's Whiddy Island in the background.
Took a swim this afternoon, the water is really cold, there has to be an explanation for this, it was much warmer a few weeks back and it's august after all! Freespiral joined me at the cove and after a catch up I left her to brave the waters and went off for a late lunch with friends.
