Dark Clouds Over the Sea

17.1C starting dull, brightening through the middle of the day with a few heavy showers developing. Zephyr.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. I checked the clouds carefully before we went out. There were some very dark clouds over the sea. They were hardly moving but were drifting out to sea rather than towards us.

On the way up to the church I stopped and got this shot over the field to the sea. You can see the dark clouds out over the water. There had just been a loud rumble of thunder. We carried on up past the school and church then turned down the field with the bridle path to the shore. The tide was a bit further in and from the cycle path I could see Silver Cat floating at the mooring at the seaward end of the channel through the rocks. Not many rocks were visible. We didn't go down to the beach as there were more very dark clouds starting to appear, and they were heading in our direction.

Not long after we got home there was a heavy shower.
