Edinburgh Festival People and Places

This cyclist was turning heads and delivering fresh salad in Charlotte Square this morning. I did wonder what RLS would have made of this scene?

The city was en fete today, especially, in the sunshine, as we sat in the sun having lunch outside The National Gallery of Scotland before being transfixed by Michael Morpurgo's Private Peaceful - a stunning one man performance by Andy Daniel.

Today's celebrity spot went to Paxo as he sat in George Square supping a solitary beer proving that the celebrity life is not all glitzy parties and wall to wall hospitality!

Today we enjoyed the continuing company of my sister and brother-in law seeing many facets of Edinburgh at this time of the year.

Tiggy and I were also thinking of N1CGF and P's birthday today.
