It's A Small World

If I prayed
I would pray that someone harmless picks her up
and that she makes it ok to Eng.
(Eng! That must be a tiny country.
I expect you can look round it in under an hour).

Perhaps if that goes well she’ll hitch a lift
to Scot and Ire
and see the sights before lunch.

Maybe she’ll land up in Fin and New Zea
and reach Thai
in time for tea.

She’s someone’s daughter.

I hope she’s not a worry
to her parents
and that she gets home for supper.
