Rust never sleeps

We were off to the Towersey Folk Festival to see the wonderful Richard Thompson play an acoustic set.

He is a phenomenal guitarist who writes terribly good songs. His voice is possibly an acquired taste, but it is worth the trouble of the acquisition.

Valerie.

We met up with A and P and it was good to catch up with them. We mustn't leave it so long next time...

After Mr Thompson's set, we waited around for a bit to let the car park empty and this meant that we caught the "After Party" set from Rusty Shackle (see fig. 1) a "Dirty Bluegrass Folk'n'Roll" band from Wales. They were pretty good - may have to find their album.

Rusty Shackle? Very late night? See what I've done there with the title? Eh?
