Monday 8 February 2010: Double Whammy
Well two wonderful things happened today.
Firstly: my husband, who has been away for 2 1/2 weeks and is due to come home in 2 1/2 weeks, walked through the door this morning. He managed to get a flight home for 10 days and took me completely by surprise!
Secondly: our daughter rolled over for the first time today. Well actually the first, second and third time! I am so thrilled he was here to see it as I know he has felt very left out of her day-to-day antics (even though I've tried to keep him as updated as I can via a blog I set up).
This photo warms my heart. I love watching them together and seeing his face when she rolled over for him brought a tear to my eye.
This has been a very good day...
