Farmer and Co

Another day on the farm today.

Feeding out to the four mobs of dairy grazers a mix of lucerne bailage, and fresh annual grass. The young mob are putting weight on well and go to the bull late October.

Fresh scones with a dash of cayenne pepper couldn't have been better thanks to the loverly k2.

Then sighting in the new Remington model 7 243. Shooting with a 85g Sierra HPBT game king bullet with a successful 1/2" grouping.

After buggering the diesel boiler fuel filter (note to trooper, do not heat plastic bowl with a blow torch) It was a test drive in the fleet's latest acquisition (well I'm convinced) the 2014 Renault Premium Lander with a 12 speed Optidriver +2 auto gearbox. Wow this big rig was so easy drive I thought I was back on the milk truck.

For the record I also enjoyed driving the Amorak as well, but it was the fresh pot of tea which holds a special place on the farm.
