A Good Influence...

Another leisurely breakfast, then we spent 1hr in the car as we drive to Scotland's Theme Park near Motherwell.

It was not a huge park, like Alton Towers or Drayton Manor, but it was enough to keep everyone entertained for the next five hours.

Rachel's best mate, Lucy, loves fast and scary rides and Rachel is the exact opposite. I went on a roller coaster with Lucy and I ached immediately after... Boy I'm getting old! With Lucy's power of persuasion she managed to get Rachel on some high swinging swing things, a mini roller coaster and this ride in the photo which goes up in the air! Rachel then persuaded Lucy to go on the flying elephants, the dodgems and numerous other non scary rides. They had an awesome day and they both fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Tonight we are having a night in front if the TV, reading books or playing in the iPad.
