Wednesday 10 February 2010: Protector
Ever since Claudia was born, Ginger has wanted to be in on the action. To begin with I thought it was just because that was where all the attention was being directed but as she's grown older he has really taken to her. He curls up with us for feeds, he snuggles up to her when she's sat playing and, even though he had an operation yesterday and is still not feeling himself (but is much better than goodness!), he still stands by her side when she plays.
I know this shot is not very good, I am not generally a fan of flash (and you can see why) but it was dark and this was the only photo I managed to get before Ginge stalked off, annoyed at being caught in the act of being soppy. So I'm submitting this one, more for sentimental than artistic value: one girl with her hand protectively over her protector...
