Disappointment

We decided yesterday that today's breakfast would be in the Norwegian place we'd discovered last time and had really enjoyed. Perhaps we were too late to be offered the snack we'd had two years ago, or maybe the place has changed hands since and the menu has changed, but the end result was desperate disappointment. Even the coffee which I had to finish was pretty dreadful.

We went on to renew acquaintance with Avenida de Tirajana, the main street in Playa del Inglés, and especially with a little bar which really caught our fancy last time. We also re-discovered some restaurants and chose one for our evening meal. To complete a productive day, we went to to make a restaurant reservation for Monday night and booked ourselves in for a boat trip on Tuesday.

Our evening meal was wonderful (in the Mr Greek restaurant as decided earlier), with Carl declaring the food the best yet. We had just one beer in a Swedish bar before heading back to our bungalow.
