A Sweet Surprise

Because of all the rain yesterday the lake has filled up quite noticeably!

I was a bit concerned for Mrs Black Swan and went over to see if her nest had been flooded.

Much to my delight as I was watching her serenely sitting in her quite elevated and very dry nest a little grey ball of fluff popped out from underneath her!!

It was such a thrill and even though this wasn't such a clear shot I couldn't resist using it as my blip today! Mr Black Swan was there too on the right, it was a real family affair! I hope you can make them all out in the gloom!
