Leaving a clean bowl.

I made a vignole for supper, an Italian bean stew based on a Roman recipe to celebrate Spring - yes I know it's nearly September - together with cheesy pancakes. It was so colourful and tasty that I had planned to blip it. However, I noticed Flash's bowl just now, and it made me smile. I had made stock from scratch and after straining it, rescued the flavourings, some bits of chicken (don't tell Gertrude and Chichi) and assorted vegetables, for Flash. She tucked in with enthusiasm and cleaned her bowl very efficiently.

Except for the bay leaves.

And a clove (the thing disguised as an earwig).
