Dolphins

This morning we woke up early to go to the dolphin feeding. For over 27 years (I'm not sure exactly how long) a wild dolphin family comes to Tin Can Bay and volunteers feed them.

It was more of a tourist attraction than we expected. There were LOTS of people and I even heard that in the school holidays sometimes there are 200 people! Wow.

Anyway to see the dolphins was quite nice. At some point they came swimming there and were just swimming around. Then around 8 people could start to feed them (of course paying for this). We didn't do that ourselves, but around 40/50 other people did.

After the dolphins we left Tin Can Bay and drove to Hervey Bay and booked our tours for the next two days.
