The Garden

This is a faffed about picture of the garden as it is now. Tomorrow it will start to change. JJ wants the lawn lifted between the tank cover and lime tree, so the landscapers will be rotivating the area in question, adding new topsoil and laying grass.

To the left of the drain cover, which you can't see, is where my new, but tiny, holly green octagonal greenhouse will go. The landscapers are going to build the base and lay stepping stones up to the conservatory. I will have quite a few weeks to look out on the base because the greenhouse isn't due for delivery until the middle of December. Sigh!

The grandchildren are coming this afternoon, so the swing seat has been anchored, the settee has been moved back etc., etc., I think they are all planning on staying for dinner although nothing has been discussed, so smoked salmon, pepperoni and plain ham, together with salad and new potatoes will be on the menu, followed by strawberries and ice cream. We may eat in the conservatory where the mess is easier to clean up. :-)
