The Two "G's"

Here am I---Gramma and blipper "For Comments Only" Granny:) We are the lucky loving grandmother's of baby Z and mama's of Goose and Gander who have been blippers. Comments Only ---as she is known on blip, was coming down from Bellingham on her way home to Portland---her son just moved to Bellingham with his family so she was up for a visit. We were lucky to have her stop over last night for a mini visit . We just finished breakfast here and before she got back on the road I had Big R do a guest blipper shot of the two of us!

It's Labor Day in the states...a day to honor working people here. The link attached here will tell a little more about the real history of why we celebrate working people....it's not taught in our schools and virtually left out of most news stories anymore. The actual day was made a federal holiday after a huge labor strike in Chicago involving the Pullman Railway strikers where many of them lost their lives. It's sad that so much of our labor history in the states goes virtually unknown. I may blip more on this later as a possible series.
