8.30am

When Roy ordered the coloured stones on Saturday, to be delivered today, he forgot to ask one vital question 'what time will they be here'. At 8.30 this morning I heard someone talking on the phone outside our back gate, it was the delivery guy. So I shouted to him that we would be 2 minutes and we shot out of bed, got dressed and went outside.

He set the wagon up on its legs and started to offload, 15 minutes later 2 x 1 tonne bags of gravel had been delivered. Quick breakfast and by 9am we were outside, Roy shovelling the gravel into buckets and me doing the humping, laying and raking it into place. After a couple of breaks for water we had laid a tonne and a half of gravel by midday.

Nearly there, it will be finished tomorrow.
