Phew!

The puppy is loads better tonight. He's not racing around but has pinched my shoe, dug a hole in the gravel and made it up the steps, if a little gingerly. This shot is of him avidly watching The Secret Lives of Dogs I think I might need to do something about his fluffy top knot.

All of the puppy walking arrangements have worked today so fingers crossed that yesterday was just a blip in the process. It was never going to be an easy day so perhaps it was best to have all the trauma at once!

The first two days have been far from inspirational but I have already had some good interactions with families and all will be much better once the students arrive tomorrow.
