The Author

Alan Gibbons is an author of children's books. He is also committed to public libraries, and has been very active in the campaign to stop the closure of 11 libraries in Liverpool (see previous blips!). Tonight he spoke at a community centre to an audience concerned about the threatened closure of their local libraries.

This marks the end of this series. Many thanks to all of you who have kindly made comments. I have really appreciated all the feedback.

I am now off for a couple of days on Dartmoor, where I am looking forward to meeting up with Mydartmoorwalks, and picking up some advice on landscape photography.
