Which side will win on the 18th September? At the moment the outcome on the vote for Scottish Independence is uncertain but we saw several signs in fields in the Borders indicating the views of the local landowners and I had not seen many of the latter phrase before. As I crossed the border for the fifth time in 22 days I wondered whether there might be changes in the future if Scotland does vote to become independent and would it be almost impossible to notice the actual border then?

This evening we dined with my brother and his friend in a Cheshire hotel with this beautiful ceiling and there was very little talk about the referendum.
