Parking in NYC

Space is at such a premium in New York that they have evolved this system of parking on street corner gap sites. Costs an arm and a leg though - and I wouldn't want to be the car on top and in a hurry to go!

Went to the Mysterious Bookshop in Tribeca to sign a huge pile of books and learn that The Lewis Man is their book of the month! Met old friends for cocktails at our hotel later, then had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant called Aldea in 17th Street in the company of my editor Nathaniel and his better half, Sharyn - also an editor. Absolutely delightful people with whom we laughed away the evening.

This is a back blip from the morning after and we are now dashing off to Penn Station to catch our train to Boston - a signing and event there tonight.
