St John's in the Vale

We had a delightful 3 hour walk today in St John's in the Vale.

This ridge walk gives superb views of Skiddaw, Blencathra and The Helvellyn range.

It doesn't get very high, but it has plenty of ups and downs!

In the background you can see Blencathra.

I spotted this on Facebook:-

" Sweetie...You have to come out from under the bedclothes. It's the first day of school!"
