The Name Fits

A grey overcast low-cloud day at the south end of Shetland, with no glimpse of the sun, never mind a chance of passing the Fair Isle test (can I see Fair Isle from the bedroom window?).

I did encounter the Good Shepherd at Grutness, for once really living up to it's name. It was carrying a cargo of sheep being brought off Fair Isle to be transported on elsewhere.

And I've noticed that this is blip 1500, or picture-of-the-day 3542.

I posted a set of back-blips from my recent trip to Foula earlier - starting here, and also a blog post about Foula.
