Miser's Purse

Not to be outdone by Jolang, who posted a photo of her miniature knitted, beaded purse, I had to blip my miser's purse. This is one that I crocheted several years ago. It does have historical significance, which you can read about in the link above. The opening is in the center, and is accessed by sliding the rings over to one side or the other. It is easier to get the coins in than to get them out, thereby making it a miser's purse. The silver end was for silver coins and the gold end for gold coins. The ends are shaped differently to make it so the owner could distinguish the different coins in the dark, when paying the coach driver. This is most like one of a kind, since I will probably never make another one.
