Whisky hiding from the other cats.
Yes, that is Whisky on top of the china cabinet, that is nearly as high as the ceiling. She had been getting a hard time from the other two cats, and took herself off to her old home, in the next bay while we were away. So the people feeding our cats, had to also go and feed her there too. Luckily they live about half way between the two places.
Flew out of Brisbane on the 4th, after the plane being delayed by 3 hours. Most frustrating getting to the airport at 7.00am only to be told that the plane was delayed for 2 1/2 hours, but then was extended to 3 hours. Once on the plane, the chap sitting next to us, said that some people had been told the night before that the plane was going to be delayed. What is the point in taking contact numbers if they don't use them!!!!!
We spent Friday in Blenheim, had to go an buy PJ some tidy clothes to wear to the Camera Club annual dinner, as I hadn't packed anything for him. He insists on only having a carry-on bag, so that doesn't allow for anything extra. Funnily enough there is quite a bit that gets put into my bag that gets checked in even though he insists he only needs the 7kg - yeah right!
I didn't expect to get 2nd in C grade, for the most points for digital images, so was rather pleased about that.
The dogs were very pleased to see us. They came home separately, as PJ's ute had been left with the mechanic to get the Warrant of Fitness done on it. So we picked up Craig this morning, then went and got Poppy, then got the ute, and finally, we got Gypsy and Pete brought her home, while Poppy came back with Craig and myself. The two dogs were so pleased to see each other, and charged around and around the car and garden for ages.
We made sure we watched what they were up to, to make sure they didn't run away.
Partly unpacked now, but the All Blacks were playing, so the neighbours came up to watch, and now PJ is watching another game.
