Another lovely autumnal day - weatherwise. It's always a bonus at this time of year not having to put the heating on in my cold little cottage.

the hedgerow harvest this year has been bountiful and this evening, I noticed a tree, its boughs laden with damsons, I will return at the weekend to gather some.
Damson Jam and Chutney will grace my menus over Christmas and make lovely gifts too.
