I was in Kintyre all day - firstly meeting with constituents in Glenbarr, then campaigning in Campbeltown and Machrihanish, and finally speaking at a Public Meeting in Southend.

Just before the meeting I got the chance to walk for a little along the beach at Dunlaverty, as I had in April. But as the light faded the view was even more spectacular - including a flock of gulls which, little by little, took to the still water.

It was a long drive back to Glendaruel, though.
