I spy a curlew!

An early walk on the beach this morning. The sun was there but mist and cloud were preventing it from bursting through. Perfect stillness, sea without so much as a ripple the only noise coming from the squawking gulls that were gathered on the rocks. There was no colour to speak of ..... the sea and sky merged into one and against the light the birds looked almost the same shade as the sea. I watched this majestic curlew wading amongst the rocks but without this little bit of editing the picture would have been '50 Shades of Grey'!
