Jigs and reels

The sun shining, we headed off to Skibbereen for the grand finale to the Taste of West Cork Festival - a huge street market. We had a mooch around a large and varied exhibition of all things arty and crafty being produced in the area then stopped to watch the local Comhaltas group perform traditional music, singing and dancing. Great to see these young people enthusiastically entertaining us and oh, to be able to dance like this!
A quick detour to check out a ruined tower house and graveyard; a swim in choppy seas - I had to put rocks on my clothes - and that's enough excitement for a sunday!

Here's a spot of De Dannan to get those feet tapping.
