Autumn leaf

We drove to Kent with a planned detour to visit Winkworth Arboretum. The leaves are just beginning to show their autumn colours.

We were delayed on the way - we hadn't realised that our detour would take us close to the Tour of Britain route, so that was an unlooked for bonus. Goodness, those bikes travel at speed!

We checked into our hotel and then went off out again, driving the short distance to Headcorn Airfield where we were meeting up with friends, two of whom we haven't seen for about 5 years. It was a great evening!
