Berries and Baking...

Three of my friends are coming for a sleepover tomorrow so today was spent making a pot of my hot chilli and baking a banana loaf and an iced lemon sponge.

There's something very satisfying about cooking and baking when you're in the mood. I had also planned to make oat cookies but couldn't reach the larder shelf some of the ingredients were on so they will have to wait. The smell floating round the house when the baking came out the oven was fab. I must do this more often (without eating any of it!)
