View from the Rim

Drove a little than ran a little to the top of the volcano, ran the rim.

The view out to sea was a bit other, no line on the horizon, sea and sky becoming one. Kind of had me thinking about the end of LOR and the Narnia stories, about passing to the beyond the edge of the world.

Yesterday wandering around Herculenum - (I'm no archeologist but this place if fascinating). It struck me that as the artefacts from nearly 2000 years ago tell a story, what are they going to make of us in 2000 years time, unearthing a data warehouse North of the Arctic circle with my holiday photos on. I don't understand it, heaven help them.
