Spurt

I spent an hour or so under a hot headset, trying to attend a meeting that I should have been at by phone - the audio kept cutting out, and as a consequence I seem to have agreed to do some presentation that I only half heard about and really don't have time to prepare. Aii-ee-ee! The rest of the day was extremely humdrum, but at least didn't contain any more unpleasant surprises.

I was watering the plants on the windowsill when I noticed that the turmeric seems to have put on quite a growth spurt.
