Exotic flower

Optomist and I went to the Botanic Gardens today - we were going to go to Godley Head but it was pouring and blowing a gale, so we thought the tropical house was a better bet!

Had great fun using macro lens (and tripod!) - lots of flowers, leaves etc.

And more good news re our house, the old foundation and piles have been found to be no use so we are getting a completely new foundation - which is what we always wanted! So nice to have good news to share with the family etc.
