Last Day Faces

And the only people to be seen still trying to get their case across on Leith Walk this afternoon, the last day of the campaign, seemed to be for Yes. The grassroots as opposed to the astroturf, or just because Edinburgh North & Leith is strongly Yes, whereas in other parts of the city the pattern might be reversed? Bumped into my Polish friend E and her sister at The Mound and sadly they seem to have decided that despite being registered to vote they feel it isn't their place to vote in the referendum and instead it belongs to people born here. I did try to persuade them that it is about the future rather than the past and that they have just as much right as anyone, not least because they have been here getting on for ten years, but I don't think I managed to change their minds.
